Memorandum Of Association

To organise and maintain a Library containing Books, Report a Journals etc., and to make available the benefit of the Library to members of the Association;
To lend the books, reports, journals etc. of the said Library to members of the Association;
To secure and provide various amenities for representatives practicing before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal and more particularly for the benefit of the members of the Association;
To offer suggestions in matters relating to tax legislation, rules, notifications, circulars, etc;
To organise seminars and study circles and other academic activities for the benefit of members;
To organise get-togethers, socials and other cultural programme for the benefit of members in particular and Bar in general;
To invite public men of eminence to deliver talks and speeches on matters of common interest to members;
To collect and compile various judgements of the Income Tax Tribunal and to edit them in a suitable manner for making them available to members for ready reference;
To help in the attainment of effective and smooth public relations and generally to safeguard the interests of the public and educate them in relation to their rights and duties;
To do generally all such other things as are necessary or incidental to achieve all or any of the objects hereinbefore mentioned.
